The invention relates to a solar module system with a self-supporting support structure and at least one solar module element or reflector element to be arranged on said support structure. The support structure according to the invention comprises at least one self-supporting rib profile and/or longitudinal hollow profile as the support profile (37) comprising a solar module functional surface (2) and/or a reflector functional surface. The support profile has a lateral insertable profile for laterally adding an additional support profile or a connecting profile (38) or a terminal profile and/or a heat dissipation structure (3) which is connected to its solar module functional surface and/or its reflector functional surface in a heat-conducting manner.
