<p>Movement tracking system with embedded devices in shoes A novel system and method is proposed to track the movement of a person in an unobtrusive way. At least one of the person's shoes is provided with two spaced apart antennas 106, 107, and with RF circuitry 101 to send out a train of short RF pulses. Using a single receiver 100, these RF pulses can be detected and processed to provide information of the position and orientation of each foot. This system works as an unobtrusive tracking system that could be used as a new kind of input system for context-aware applications.</p> |
