Arthrospira-based compositions and uses thereof

Disclosed is a composition comprising physiologically stressed Arthrospira maxima for use as a biocide and/or therapeutic and the method for preparing said Arthrospira. Also disclosed is a use of the fore mentioned Arthrospira in the manufacture of a medicament for treating skin infections.
