AN OPTICAL ETHERNET APPARATUS HAVING A REMOTE CONTROL

An optical ethernet apparatus having a remote control function for controlling an optical ethernet equipment positioned in a remote place is provided to re-operate a system when CPU error is generated by equipping a watch dog function in an optical Ethernet equipment. An optical module(130) converts optical about packet data inputted through an optical transmission media or performs the optical conversion for outputting to the optical transmission media. An optical module controller(140) controls transmitter power of the optical module according to a specific pattern in case of restoring the optical Ethernet equipment on a remote side. A physical layer performs the coding and decoding of transceiver data and the serial/parallel conversion of data as an OSI physical layer.
