A cosmetic composition is provided to increase an effect as a raw material of the cosmetic material by containing Chaenomeles cardinalis extracts, to be applicable to a skin cosmetic, to show an excellent antioxidant effect and an excellent antiaging effect when is contained in the skin cosmetic, to synthesize a collagen, to remove skin fine wrinkles, to make the skin white and to relieve a stimulus of the skin by an inflammation mediator. A cosmetic composition comprises Chaenomeles lagenaria extracts as a main activity ingredient. An extraction solvent is selected from purified water, methanol, ethanol, glycerine, ethylacetate, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, dichloromethane, hexane and a mixture thereof. The cosmetic composition is selected from an oil in water (O/W) or water-in-oil (W/O) typed emulsion, a lotion, a gel, an aqueous liquid, a cream, an essence and an ointment.
