Production of a rolling bearing forming a clutch controller comprises locally deforming an inner ring (11) to outwardly displace a part of the material in the radial direction, placing a crown of rolling bodies (3) on a bearing surface (2) of the inner ring, placing an outer ring (6) with a bearing surface (10) on the crown and fixing a sealing element (12) on the outer ring so that the sealing element is arranged on the side lying opposite the bearing surface (2). An independent claim is also included for rolling bearing produced using the above process. Preferred Features: The inner ring is locally deformed using a stamp. The sealing element contains a seal with lips which contact a holder (15) between the inner and outer rings when there is axial movement.
