Disclosed is a crystalline form of (S)-2-ethyl-8-methyl-1-thia-4,8-diazaspiro[4.5]decane-3-one (AF267B) having the configuration (I). Also disclosed is the use of the crystalline form above and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof in the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for stimulating the M1 muscarinic receptor.
