A photographing apparatus and a method for controlling of driving the same are provided to obtain bright light with the small number of LEDs by synchronizing a shutter opening point of a photographing unit and its driving point based on the adoption of a light which has plural LEDs. A shutter driving unit(23) opens and closes a shutter(21) according to a driving signal. A light driving unit(33) turns on/off according to the driving signal. A controller(40) controls the shutter driving unit and the light driving unit independently, consequently the light is turned on corresponding to the opening point of the shutter.
