The frame has a handle (2), a string (4) and branches (6) connecting the handle and the string. Each branch has two bands (10-1, 10-2) extending above and below the string, respectively, when the frame is set flatly, where the frame is made of carbon based composite material. Each branch has a base (8) lengthening the handle from which the bands extend. The bands have a free zone (10') in which the bands define a free space (E) and a mechanical connecting zone (10'') with the string. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a tennis racket frame.
