NOVEL ORGANIC DYE CONTAINING N-ARYLCARBAZOLE MOIETY AND PREPARATION THEREOF

An N-arylcarbazole moiety-containing organic dye is provided to improve efficiency of a solar battery, and to realize improved molar extinction coefficient and photoelectricity conversion efficiency compared with a conventional metal complex dye. An N-arylcarbazole moiety-containing organic dye is represented by the chemical formula 1. In the formula, X is 9,9-dimethylfluorenyl or 4-(2,2-diphenylvinyl) phenyl; Y is a cyanoacrylate moiety or a rhodanin-3-acetate moiety; and n is an integer of 1-5, wherein two or more of thiophene units can be arbitrarily connected to a vinyl group.
