A liquid discharge head and an ink jet printing apparatus can ensure improved picture quality and high reliability in printing by appropriately suppressing the generation of satellites and improper discharge while discharging liquid. A liquid discharge head(100) comprises a plurality of outlets to discharge various liquid. The outlets have the respective shapes according to the kind of the discharged liquid. The outlets include non-circular and circular ones. A small amount of liquid is discharged through the circular outlet, and a large amount of liquid is discharged through the non-circular outlet.
