PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera system including a recording device which can restore an original image by canceling privacy protection when necessary in the case of reproducing the image protected by the privacy protection. SOLUTION: A monitoring camera 100 is provided with an image separation part 102 for separating a privacy protection target image to separate the privacy protection target image, an external medium 400 is connected to the recording device 300 to store the privacy protection target image, and the original image is restored by an image composition part 303.
