PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption during standby for data in a radio data receiver for receiving radio data. SOLUTION: The radio data receiver 10 is a super-regenerative radio data receiver for performing sampling in a quenching period corresponding to a signal period of received data and has a super-regenerative receiver RX having a main oscillator OSC for performing oscillation/non-oscillation in the quenching period, and a microcomputer 11 for setting the quenching period to a first period during standby for the radio data and setting the quenching period to a second period when receiving desired data during standby for the radio data.
