PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, a crime prevention device, and a crime prevention system that use radio communication regarding monitoring and imaging of a predetermined region. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a plurality of application functions and a storage medium such that the plurality of application functions use in common and includes a radio communication means for radio communication with the crime prevention device, having an infrared detecting means of detecting infrared rays from the predetermined monitoring region, and an imaging means of imaging the predetermined monitoring area to store data received through radio communication in the storage medium.
