PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing method of reinforcing a closed rib steel floor slab formed of a deck plate having, on the rear surface side, closed ribs in the axial direction of a bridge. SOLUTION: This method of reinforcing a steel floor slab 100 formed of the deck plate 101 and the plurality of U-ribs in the axial direction L of the bridge. The U-ribs 10 are secured to the rear surface 101a of the deck plate 101 at a predetermined interval in the direction W at right angle to the axis of the bridge. A splicing reinforcement plate 40 along the outer surfaces of the web parts 10a of the adjacent U-ribs 10 and the rear surfaces 101a of the vertical rib distance h portions thereof is joined to the web parts 10a and the rear surfaces 101a.
