PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein since a control housing is arranged in the lateral side of an electric motor, it is difficult to reduce the size of an entire device in the radial direction of the electric motor, and provide a small vehicle steering device. SOLUTION: A control housing 30 storing a control device 12 is interposed between a motor housing 25 of an electric motor 18 and a gear housing 22. The control housing 30 is arranged adjacent to the axial direction X1 of the electric motor 18 with respect to the motor housing 25. The control housing 30 includes an approximately square box-shaped main body part 48 having an opened one end and a cylindrical part 49 extended from the bottom part of the main body part 48 toward the opened side of the main body part 48.
