<p>A topology identification device (10) includes: a path overlap judging unit (4) which judges whether a first path between terminals whose connection positions are known in a network having a tree-shaped network topology is overlapped with second path between a terminal whose connection position is known and a terminal whose connection position is unknown; and a topology identification unit (5) which decides a network topology according to present/absence of an overlap between the first path and the second path.</p>
