A viewing directional image data generating apparatus, a directional display image data generating apparatus, a directional display device, a directional display system, a viewing direction image data generating method and a directional display image data generating method are provided to reduce a data amount of each original image data while suppressing deterioration of resolution of a viewing direction image in order to generate viewing direction image data and transmit the data to the directional display device, thereby enabling real time display in the directional display device. A viewing direction image is made of a plurality of pixels having matrix form. Pixels of a viewing direction image are comprised of three pixel elements respectively. The pixel elements are arranged in row and column direction in a matrix form. The directional display image is divided by a plurality of pixel blocks.
