<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper brake device for a railroad vehicle, operable by air pressure. <P>SOLUTION: This caliper brake device 1 for the railroad vehicle has a pneumatic cylinder 120 for pressing a brake shoe 70 to a disc rotor 6 by rotating a lever link 111, and has a link joint 200 rotatably connected to the lever link 111 and a spherical bearing 220 for rotatably connecting this link joint 200 to the pneumatic cylinder 120, and transmits the movement of the pneumatic cylinder 120 to the lever link 111 while rotating the link joint 200 when the respective lever links 111 rotate with a fulcrum pin 114 as a fulcrum in response to expansion operation of the pneumatic cylinder 120 in braking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
