<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device in which a reproduced signal of high quality can be obtained by deciding an optimum range of recording power required for suppressing amplitude variation of the reproduced signal. <P>SOLUTION: This optical disk device is provided with a recording part forming a mark and a space on an optical disk by a laser beam of set recording power and recording data on the optical disk, a reproducing part reproducing the mark and the space formed on the optical disk, a variation quantity calculating part calculating amplitude variation quantity of the reproduced signal of the space reproduced by the reproducing part, and a recording power deciding part deciding optimum recording power of the laser beam so that amplitude variation quantity calculated by the variation quantity calculating part is within the prescribed range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
