<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient method for retrieving harness information on a vehicle wire harness by associating the harness information on the vehicle wire harness with information representing material contained in the component of the harness. <P>SOLUTION: This method for retrieving the harness information on the vehicle wire harness retrieves the harness information showing the schematic diagram of the harness and the component of the harness of the vehicle wire harness 10 formed by attaching a connector 11 to the end of a plurality of electric wires 12. The information representing material is contained in synthetic resin forming the connector 11, the presence mode of the information representing material is detected, and the harness information stored in a data base is read out by associating with the various presence modes of the information representing material based on the detected result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
