<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is simple in configuration, superior in workability and capable of locking/unlocking the rotation of an image forming the apparatus body. <P>SOLUTION: A pressing part for locking 60 is provided in the inner surface of an opening/closing cover 40, and an arm 62, which is rockably journaled by a support part 61 and whose front-side end 62a is pressed by the pressing part for locking 60 and back-side end 62d presses an engaging pin for locking 63, is provided in the apparatus body.
