PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device, capable of further practically performing route guidance when there is an adjacent guide point. SOLUTION: The navigation device for performing route guidance comprises an adjacent guide point extracting part for extracting adjacent guide points on a guide route of map data; a distance calculation part for calculating the distance between adjacent guide points extracted by the adjacent guide point extraction part; a distance correction part for correcting, when the distance calculated by the distance calculation part is a predetermined distance or smaller, the distance between the adjacent guide points on the guide route of map data to the actual distance between the adjacent guide points; and a guide part for forming guide information, by using the distance corrected by the distance correction part and performing route guidance, based on the formed guide information.
