PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator mounting jig for a coil winding machine capable of accurately and stably inserting the end of a stator winding into a jig-slack forming winding-through groove and capable of being used for a compact stator. SOLUTION: The stator mounting jig 20 for a coil winding machine for winding the stator windings 14 around magnet pole teeth 13 by the coil winding machine and for helping the connection of the ends 14a of the stator windings 14 with connection portions (output pins) 18 by supporting a stator 11 includes a plate member 21 having a plurality of J-shaped hook parts J placed on one side in a line at intervals though which at least the winding nozzle of the coil winding machine can pass. When the stator mounting jig 20 supports the stator 11, each J-shaped hook part J penetrates a clearance 17 mounted between the connection portion 18 and the inner circumferential portion to project beyond one face of the stator 11, so that the end 14a of the stator winding 14 climbs over a groove 21a sandwiched between the long projection of one J shape of the J-shaped hook part J and the short projection of the other.
