PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance pressurization-proof stiffness of a chassis of portable electronic equipment, to suppress deformation, even if a compression load due to external force is received to prevent breakage. SOLUTION: In the portable electronic equipment 1 provided with a display part 30 having a display unit 35, a frame 40 which holds the display part 30, and the chassis 3 which incorporates the display part 30 and the frame 40, since a locking part 32 is provided at the edge of the display part 30, a projected part 43 engaged into the locking part 32 is projected and is provided on the outside, rather than the display part 30 is provided at the edge part of the frame 40 and the projected part 43 is brought into contact with the internal wall surface of the frame 40, the pressurization-proof stiffness is enhanced.
