PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow molded body using a polyester resin excellent in transparency, heat resistance and mechanical properties. SOLUTION: The hollow molded body using the polyester resin is obtained by polycondensing a glycol component, containing a spiroglycol of 5-60 mol%, having a cyclic acetal skeleton given by structural formula (1), and ethylene glycol of 30-95 mol%, and a dicarboxylic acid component, containing terephthalic acid and/or its ester of 80-100 mol%, wherein the hollow molded body using the polyester resin has a specific limiting viscosity, melt viscosity, molecular weight distribution, glass transition temperature and exothermic peak of crystallization in temperature-lowering.
