PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device structured to prevent outbreak of a sheet conveying failure even if a distance between a first conveying roller and a second conveying roller is reduced by abrasion of the first conveying roller or the second conveying roller, and to provide an image forming device with the same. SOLUTION: An image forming device has resist rollers structured of a resist roller 22 and a resist roller 24 to be brought in contact with each other, a driving source 72 for transmitting drive to the resist roller 22, a gear G1 installed in a rotary shaft 70 of the resist roller 22, a pulley 80 installed in a rotary shaft 78 of the resist roller 24, an idle member 92 for transmitting drive form the gear G1 to the pulley 80, and a pressing mechanism 86 for pressing the resist roller 24 to the resist roller 22.
