PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate maintenance work of a bottom labeling means positioned below a transfer means. SOLUTION: The bottom labeling apparatus for attaching a label at the bottom face of merchandise transferred by a transfer means is provided with a horizontal transfer means for moving the labeling means in the direction vertically crossing the transfer direction of the transfer means and a horizontally turning means for turning the labeling means horizontally in relation to the horizontal moving means.
