PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for treatment of asbestos and its related material enabling inexpensive, low-cost, simple and safe continuous treatment of asbestos and its related materials by use of no chemicals or fuels. SOLUTION: The method comprises spraying high-pressure water pressurized with a pressurization unit from a spray nozzle into a mixture gas formation tube, forming a high-pressure mixture-gas jet flow through the mixture gas formation tube, spraying the mixture-gas jet flow into a suction capture tube and making run, causing fine asbestos or asbestos-containing matter to be captured with the mixture-gas jet flow by sucking asbestos or asbestos-containing matter under a negative pressure generated in the suction capture tube, feeding the mixture-gas jet flow into a kneading unit to knead a solidifying material in the kneading unit so as to form a molding material containing asbestos or asbestos-containing matter and molding the molding material into a desired shape by a molding means.
