Provided is a wind power apparatus, which is enabled to suppress the redu ction of an operation rate to the minimum by shortening the time period requ ired for a frozen anemometer to restore even under the snowing cold circumst ance of a cold area. The wind power apparatus comprises an anemometer (7) in the upper portion of a nacelle, in which a driving/generating mechanism con nected to a rotor head carrying windmill vanes is housed. In the nacelle upp er portion, there is formed an exit port for an in-nacelle cooling wind, whi ch is opened toward the anemometer (7) and which is equipped with a ventilat ing flap (13) acting as blow direction varying means for the cooling wind.</ SDOAB> |
