<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive group address setting method of an air conditioner capable of properly and automatically setting a group address of an indoor machine without special equipment in a manufacturing stage and a simultaneous transmitting/receiving function of the indoor machine. <P>SOLUTION: As the indoor machines 21-23 receiving a temporary group address setting command by a signal from an address setting start switch of a wired remote controller 10, have the temporary group address setting function to create an initial value for generating random numbers on the basis of the information such as an indoor temperature, to perform random number calculation by using the initial value, and to decide the temporary group address on the basis of a calculated value as a result of the calculation, the wired remote controller 10 distinguishes the indoor machines on the basis of the response of the indoor machines 21-23 by temporary group address confirming commands to successively apply the group addresses, thus the address can be automatically set without such a constrain that the power must be supplied to the outdoor machine after additional installation and power supply to all of indoor machines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
