<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress impact scratches to a driving means, when a process cartridge is attached to an apparatus main body by easily replacing the process cartridge in an image forming apparatus, using a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A parallel translation member 202 comes into contact with the process cartridge 110, to make it hold at a first position (position where a driving gear driving a photoreceptor drum is not engaged with a driven gear provided in the photoreceptor drum) and separate a fixing member 201 from the process cartridge 110, in such a state that an opening/closing member is opened; the fixing member 201 is made to abut against the process cartridge 110, to hold it at a second position (position where the driving gear is engaged with the driven gear) and to separate the parallel translation member 202 from the process cartridge 110, in such a state that the opening/closing member is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
