<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved high pressure nozzle, and to provide a method for the manufacture of a high pressure nozzle. <P>SOLUTION: High pressure nozzle, particularly for descaling oxide films on steel products, having a jet director (26) within a supply channel to a discharge opening (22), characterized in that the jet director (26) has a free flow cross-section in an area directly surrounding the supply channel median longitudinal axis (30).
