PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preparing driving daily report for taxi and a method thereof which can reduce the labor of a crew and the staff of a business branch, and to completely solve the problem, such as input forgetfulness or input mistake, by calculating alternative numerics based on the traveling distance data of a taxi meter, without having to manually enter the count value of a traveling distance by an odometer. SOLUTION: This device for preparing driving daily report for taxi, which prepares a driving daily report, based on business data acquired from a taxi meter, is provided with a correction coefficient arithmetic means for calculating correction coefficients for matching first traveling distance data, included in the business data with second traveling distance data displayed at the odometer of the taxi; an alternative data arithmetic means for calculating alternative data by correcting the first traveling distance data with correction coefficients; and a driving daily report preparation means for preparing a driving daily report by using the alternative data and the business data.
