PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel for information display capable of preventing the deterioration of image quality due to the degradation of voltage caused by the difference of applied voltage in the counter electrode of a line-shaped electrode by changing an inter-substrate distance in accordance with the positional relation between the power source connection terminal of the line-shape electrode formed of a transparent conductive material having a higher electric resistance as compared with metal. SOLUTION: The panel for information display is configured so as to move a display medium and display information such as an image by applying an electric field from the counter electrode formed while making the line-shaped electrodes 5, 6 formed on two sheets of substrates intersect a display medium (charged particles) filled in a space between the substrates 1, 2, wherein the inter-substrate distance is continuously changed such that, as the position is farther from the power source connection terminal of the line-shaped transparent electrode, the inter-substrate distance corresponding to the position becomes narrower.
