<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic material which is improved in photostability and maintains optical characteristics for a long time while keeping the excellent transparency. <P>SOLUTION: An object lens 10 as a plastic optical element is constituted of a special plastic optical element material.
