PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biting-in type pipe coupling which allows an attachment port of a device side pipe of a joint body and an attachment port on the connecting pipe side to be finished from one direction, while smoothly brazing the device side pipe, and also to provide a refrigerating unit and a water heater using this pipe coupling. SOLUTION: This joint body 1 has the attachment port 11a for inserting and brazing the device side pipe P1 into and to an anti-joining member side end part in a central part, and also has the attachment port 16 for inserting a connecting pipe P2 into a joining member 2 side end part in the central part. A thin wall part 11b having the outer periphery of an outer peripheral wall part smaller than the outer periphery of a base part 13 of the joint body 1, is formed on the inlet side of the attachment port 11a for inserting the device side pipe P1. In such a biting-in type pipe coupling, the thin wall part 11b is formed in a range of reaching the end vicinity of this attachment port 11a on this side of the end of the attachment port 11a from an inlet side end part of the attachment port 11a.
