<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a magnet body used for recovering a carrier scattering on the photoreceptor drum side, the apparatus being designed so as to improve the degree of freedom in the design of the image forming apparatus by devising the part on which the magnet body is disposed, thereby restraining arise of limit on the disposition of devices around the photoreceptor drum. <P>SOLUTION: The magnet body 40 is disposed on the protective cover 38 of a shutter device which is opened or closed so that the surface of the photoreceptor drum 8 is covered or exposed. Thus, when the position of the protective cover 38 is changed to a closing position in which the surface of the photoreceptor drum 8 is covered, the magnet body 40 comes close to the photoreceptor drum 8 and magnetically attracts magnetic carrier sticking to the surface of the drum 8, thereby removing the magnetic carrier from the drum 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
