<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for brushless motor which can lighten the load of CPU, and also can reduce the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 10 is equipped with a current control unit 14 which computes a motor current by current control based on the speed ω, the current command i* computed based on a speed command, and the total current of DC, and a control variable converter 16 which computes a motor current im and a control variable in a sine wave form geared to each phase based on an angle θ. Furthermore, the controller 10 is equipped with a PWM converter 18 which generates the PWM signals Su, Sv, and Sw of PWM based on the control variable.
