<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic cylinder device for a stop position correction enabling a narrow installation place, easy installation and a simple structure at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the hydraulic cylinder device 1 for stop position correction, a lifting car is made vertically moved by winding or rewinding a wire having a fixed end W and a winding end, and the difference of a floor surface of the car and a floor surface of a building at a stop position of the lifting car is reduced by lifting/lowering the fixed end.
