<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire stripper which securely and easily cuts off and removes insulating coatings of many kinds which are different in size and cross-sectional shape, and is compact as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of arms 1, 2 arranged in a crossing manner, and an intermediate edge body 3 arranged between crossing walls 1a, 2a of both arms 1, 2 are connected by a supporting pivot 4. A plurality of cutting edges 18 to 23 are arranged in a multirow-like form at opposite edges of a jaw portion 1b of one arm 1 and the intermediate edge body 3, and at opposite edges of a jaw portion 2b of the other arm 2 and the intermediate edge body 3, respectively. A lock body 5 to regulate rocking of the intermediate edge body 3 is provided between each of the arms 1, 2 and the intermediate edge body 3. In such a state as the intermediate edge body 3 is fixed by the lock body 5 and one arm 2, it is constituted so that the insulating coatings may be cut off between the other arm 1 and the intermediate edge body 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
