PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding jig which can prevent burrs, or the like from attaching to or mixing into an adhered object, and to provide a method of manufacturing the holding jig which can easily remove burrs, or the like generated in an elastic member in a forming process without letting them attach to the main body of the holding jig. SOLUTION: The holding jig 1A comprises the main body 2, the elastic member 3A which is formed on the surface of the main body 2 and has a tackiness, and a release layer 4A which is formed on the surface of the main body 2 so as to be adjacent to the elastic member 3A. In the method of manufacturing the holding jig 1, before forming the elastic member 3A on the surface of the main body 2, a release agent is applied on a region adjacent to an elastic member formation region wherein the elastic member 3A is to be formed to form the release layer 4A.
