PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for commercially producing a mixed crystal of sarpogrelate hydrochloride, namely, producing a mixed crystal of type II crystal and type I crystal of sarpogrelate hydrochloride by a recrystallization means on an industrial scale. SOLUTION: The method for producing a mixed crystal of type II crystal and type I crystal of sarpogrelate hydrochloride comprises dripping a water-containing ketone solution of crude crystal of sarpogrelate hydrochloride into a precooled ketone solution and collecting precipitated crystal by filtration. The mixed crystal of type II crystal and type I crystal of sarpogrelate hydrochloride has the obtained mixed ratio of type II crystal and type I crystal of 7:3-9:1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
