PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed device for in-core measurement which can automatically detect the wrong connection of cables and can be restored automatically without requiring any physical relocation of the cables. SOLUTION: The device includes an LPRM signal processor 7 to measure the level of a neutron flux in the core and a detected value comparison device 9 to conduct differential operation between the detected value of a thermocouple thermometer 1 of a gamma thermometer assembly and the output of the LPRM signal processor 7. When the output signal of the detected value comparison device 9 exceeds a predetermined set value, a control transmitter 8 judges that the wrong connection of the cables to the thermocouple thermometer 1 exists.
