PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of excellently joining these joining parts, by easily inserting and positioning a tube into an insertion hole of header tanks. SOLUTION: While forming an opening part 10a by opening the leeward side of the insertion hole 10 of the header tanks 2 and 3, a locking wall part 10b is formed windward, and the windward outer periphery 7f end of the tube 7 is allowed to abut on the locking wall part 10b, and an end part 7g of the tube 7 is put in a state of being positioned by abutting on a column part 7d, and the joining part of both of these is joined.
