The object is to provide a guava leaf extract powder which shows less deterioration in quality and functions even when stored for a long period after dissolution. Disclosed is a method for production of a guava leaf extract powder, comprising extracting a guava leaf with hot water of 90 to 98Ë¿C, condensing the resulting extract to such an extent that the Brix sugar level reaches 20 to 30, and lyophilizing the condensed extract. Also disclosed is a guava leaf extract powder produced by the method.
