An uninterruptible power supply having a function for preventing overcharge due to a temperature rise of a storage battery is provided to preserve a lifetime of a storage battery by detecting a temperature rise of a storage battery. An uninterruptible power supply having a function for preventing overcharge due to a temperature rise of a storage battery comprises a temperature sensor(20), a floating charge voltage setting unit(32), temperature compensation charge voltage setting unit(34), and a charging apparatus(14). The temperature sensor is installed inside a storage battery or in one side. The floating charge voltage setting unit sets up a floating charge voltage of a storage battery. The temperature compensation charge voltage setting unit sets up the charge voltage of the storage battery lower than the floating charge voltage. The charging apparatus includes a charge mode interface part connected to the storage battery.
