PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent weather resistance as well as stability of a glass sealing part.

SOLUTION: The device includes an LED element 2; an Al2O3board 3 and a circuit pattern 4 for mounting the LED element 2 and performing reception and supply of electric power; and a glass sealing part 6 consisted of heat fused glass of a B2O3-SiO2-Li2O-Na2O-ZnO-Nb2O5system and sealing the LED element 2. The heat fused glass contains 21 to 23 wt.% B2O3, 11 to 13 wt.% SiO2, 1 to 1.5 wt.% Li2O, and 2 to 2.5 wt.% Na2O.
