<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tamperproof cap that cannot be uncapped without breaking fragile bridges formed in the slits of the tamperproof ring. <P>SOLUTION: The tamperproof cap includes a cap body and a tamperproof ring. The tamperproof ring is circumferentially divided at regular intervals by the two or more slits. Fragile bridges that break during uncapping are formed in the predetermined areas of the slits. Strong bridges that do not break during uncapping are formed on the upper face of the end on the capping side so as to be in contact with the lower end face of the peripheral wall of the cap body. Ratchets are formed on the internal face of the end on the uncapping side. Pressing inclined projections having the form of a right-angled triangular shape are formed on the upper face of the end on the capping side. Formed on the lower end of the cap body opposite the pressing inclined projections are inclined notches having the form of a right-angled triangular shape, which accommodate the pressing inclined projections and engage with these projections when the cap is rotated in the capping direction.
