<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device having a quickly openable discharge hole. <P>SOLUTION: In this airbag device, the discharge hole 27 of an airbag 21 can be opened and closed by a flap member 45. The flap member 45 comprises a flap body 46 and an adjusting belt 52. The front end of the adjusting belt 52 is formed in a connection portion 54 for sewing the belt to the flap body 46, and the rear end thereof is connected to an opening/closing control device. The portion 55 of the connection portion 54 sewed with the flap body 46 is formed generally linear shape. The first end 55a of the connection portion 54 on the rear end 54b side is disposed at the position apart from the opening/closing control device more than the second end 55b thereof on the front end 54a side. When the adjusting belt 52 is connected to the opening/closing control device during the inflation of the airbag 21, a suture T2 forming the sewed portion 55 is broken from the first end 55a side, the sewing between the connection portion 54 and the flap body 46 is released, and the discharge hole 27 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
